Corporate Team Building

Dungeons & Dragons at the Office

What’s this?

A team building collaborative storytelling experience for geeks. Get your team together to solve puzzles, defeat villains, uncover mysteries and find treasures!
This tabletop game’s fantasy setting enables everyone to communicate, collaborate and get creative in a safe environment without all the real-world risks.

Why D&D?

Because it achieves two goals most team building exercises can’t deliver simultaneously:

  • Your team gets to have fun
  • Everyone gets to learn something about themselves and their teammates

Confidence & Leadership

Get the confidence to either delegate or to rise up to the task, defending your party members’ lifes. These dynamics naturally spawn leadership. Different kinds of leaders can rise in different situations.

Humility

Every character might die if they don’t work together. Putting your collective success in the hands of others is a humbling task. Each character is skilled in some aspects and lacking in others. No one character can do everything.

Creative Problem Solving

There are no limits to the ways of solving any specific challenge in D&D. This means every idea is valid, provided a character has the required tools. You’re in a fantasy setting, so if you fail it’s not a big deal.

Collaboration & Diversity

Just like real life, challenges are easier if you have help. The same tools in different hands may have very different results. Everyone must use their individual proficiencies to overcome obstacles, as a team is only as strong as it is diverse.

Communication

Communication is key to overcome collective challenges, either in game or in real life. Therefore, for a pleasant experience everyone needs to communicate effectively about their character’s intentions.

Anxiety & Stress

Rebound from social anxiety through roleplay and collaboration, adapt to change and increase empathy by understanding other player’s motivations. That, or simply blow off some steam dealing with a group of bandits.

I loved these experiences from start to finish. They were enriched by Samuel’s preparation and craft, bringing a very fun and engaging game to the table!

Pedro, Hostelworld

Spontaneous and charming, he continously adapted to whatever popped in our heads.
The scenarios he created allowed us to exercise critical thinking in ways that video games or social interaction can’t.

As a stalwart of immersion […], we were transported from the corporate world to explore our paths as travelling heroes.

Before you ask…

Do we have to learn how to play beforehand?
Not at all, these play sessions are 100% beginner-friendly. Long-time roleplayers can join as well as newcomers.

Is there anything we need to do to prepare?
Not really, just show up. We will provide a Dungeon Master to run the session as well as everything you need to play. Bring snacks and drinks, if you so wish.
